Our Café’s have a strict no reservations policy. We are a Coffee Roastery, with a spectacular venue (we know) but we simply are not geared to do functions.Please do not enquire, the answer will still be no.

Our self-service Café’s have a strict no reservations policy. Just like any other coffee shop, we cannot allow for bookings, we prioritize walk-ins only. Please do not enquire, the answer will still be no. 

PHOTOSHOOTS HOUSE RULES
Thank you for showing interest in using our venue for your shoot , we have a few house rules and would kindly ask that you read through them before you book.We have regretfully  had some rather unpleasant experiences, so we were forced to implement some house rules, please be understanding and respectful towards our space and staff regarding these.We are first and foremost a coffee roastery / cafe and we try to keep the experience for patrons as authentic and serene as possible.
1. Please do not disturb paying customers who are here to enjoy a coffee in serenity, please do not take up more space than is absolutely necessary, please do not ask them to move and please do not "reserve" more than one table with bags and clothing if you are not using them to sit and enjoy something to eat or drink.
2. Please do not bring outside food or drinks at all, we are still a cafe and would kindly ask you to purchase refreshments here.
3. Please keep the space you are occupying clean and neat at all times.
4. Please do not bring any props/signs/furniture/decor 
5. Please stick within the allocated time frame 
6. Please be respectful towards our staff/cafe
7. We do not allow groups of more than 6 people at a time 
8. Please note this is a photoshoot only and cannot be a vow renewal/ wedding of any nature or anything else you have in mind. And yes , we have had people use the venue for full on weddings under the guise of a "photoshoots"
9. All shoots MUST be within the normal operating hours of the cafe , if you would like to do it after hours, fees would apply.
10. Please do not try and negotiate these terms, we unfortunately have them in place for very specific reasons, this includes time slots , pricing and any of the above rules
Regretfully if not adhered to, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the venue and forfeit your fee that is payable upfront (no refunds under any circumstances)
 
PRICING
Our fees are R1000 for the first hour (there is no discounted fee for under an hour) and R500 for the next hour , but shoots are capped at 2 hours max. After hours will be subject to availability and would be R2000 for the first hour and R1000 for the second hour.

 HOW TO BOOK
Please book a time slot upfront  via email hello@sorcerycoffee.co.za
and indicate how much time you need, if you do happen to need more time (under 2 hours) , please notify the staff before your time lapses to avoid an uncomfortable situation of staff needing to prompt you.
If you would like to book a time slot , we would assume that you have read and agreed to the above points.
You can email us a Name, Surname, Contact number, Date & Time and  how many hours you would need.

We focus on seriously good coffee and offer some freshly baked goods.
We are however not a full service restaurant and our food display changes daily.
You can expect:Croissants, Cakes, Tarts, Baguettes and Paninis & Pizzas

Our Ruins Cafe is pet friendly, please ensure that your dogs are on a leash!
